Children Who Chase Lost Voices

PLOT : Asuna Watase is a young elementary school girl who has been forced to grow up quickly ever since her father had died, while her mother, a nurse, works long shifts at a hospital. Asuna spends her solitary days listening to the mysterious music emanating from the cat's-whisker receiver her father gave to her as a memento, accompanied by pet cat Mimi, who bears strange red markings on her fur.

One day, while walking to her clubhouse across a bridge, she is attacked by a fearsome creature and saved by a mysterious teenage boy who calls himself Shun. Asuna treats Shun's wound from fighting the creature and later they both listen to Asuna's radio. Shun tells Asuna he is from another country called Agartha and that he came to this place to find something. He then gives Asuna a blessing in the form of a kiss to the forehead. Asuna leaves hurriedly and tells Shun she'll be back tomorrow. Shun, now alone, looks up at the stars and falls from the ledge to his death.

The next morning, Asuna hears from her mother that a boy was found dead in the river, but refuses to believe it's Shun. In school, Mr. Morisaki, a substitute teacher, is giving a lecture on a book which grabs Asuna's attention when he mentions Agartha, the land of the dead. After school, she visits Morisaki and asks him about Agartha. Morisaki explains that long ago when humankind was young, it needed the guidance of Quetzalcoatls, keepers of the dead, until humans matured and no longer needed them. They went underground along with a few humans who joined them.

Afterwards, Asuna goes to her hideout to find another mysterious boy who looks like Shun standing on the ledge. Just then, a group of armed men called the Arch Angels appear, and attack both of them. The mysterious boy hides in the underground entrance with Asuna, and the two proceed further into the cave when the cave's entrance is bombed. The two meet a Quetzacoatl who has apparently lost its physical senses and attacks the boy. He refuses to kill the gatekeeper, giving Asuna his clavis, a crystal, and fights back. The Arch Angels interfere, killing the gatekeeper. The Arch Angel commander captures Asuna and uses the clavis to open a gateway to Agartha. The commander and Asuna enter the gateway followed by the boy. Once inside the commander reveals himself to be Morisaki and the boy also reveals himself to be Shin, Shun's younger brother. Morisaki tells Shin that all he wants is to bring back his late wife from the dead. Shin leaves Asuna and Morisaki.

Morisaki tells Asuna that she can go back but she decides to accompany him. They both go into the realm via an underwater entrance. Once inside, they journey to the Gate of Life and Death which can bring the souls of people back from the dead, along with Mimi (who had snuck inside Asuna's backpack).

Upon arriving in his village, Shin is told he failed his mission to retrieve the clavis, because Asuna has unknowingly returned with a fragment of one. Shin re-embarks to stop Asuna and Morisaki from wreaking havoc in Agartha.

Along the way, Asuna is kidnapped by a race of monsters called the Izoku. She awakens in a closed area and meets a young girl named Manna; they both try to escape but are not able to. The day begins to darken and the Izoku begin to appear, but they can only move in the shadows. In their escape attempt they encounter Shin, who helps them but is wounded by an Izoku during the escape. Morisaki finds Asuna and Manna down the river as well as Shin with the help of Mimi. Shin tries to retrieve the clavis crystal fragment that belongs to Asuna. However, he is too weak to put up a fight and Morisaki easily defeats him. Asuna convinces Morisaki to take him with them while Manna leads them to her village.

Once there, the villagers are at first reluctant to help the "top-dwellers" but the village elder convinces the guards to let them in. The elder allows them to stay one night at the village because they have brought Manna back but they cannot stay more than that due to past history in that top-dwellers always bring bad luck to Agartha. Meanwhile, Asuna checks up on Shin but he yells at her to leave him alone.

The next morning, Asuna and Morisaki depart from Amaurot by boat, but Mimi no longer wants to accompany them. Shin wakes up later and finds that Mimi has passed; Shin, Manna, and the elder proceed to offer Mimi's corpse to the Quetzacoatl. When Shin sees the villagers riding away to kill them, he decides to follow, in order to protect Asuna. Morisaki and Asuna are walking towards a steep cliff when they are attacked by the villagers but they are saved by Shin. Asuna tries to climb down but is too scared, while Morisaki continues on, after trading his gun for her clavis shard and telling her to go back to the surface.

Meanwhile, Shin is fighting the villagers and is about to be killed when the villagers sense that the clavis crystal has reached the Gate of Life and Death. They leave Shin to let him wander aimlessly, having betrayed his country.

Asuna, following Morisaki's instructions to stay in the water during nighttime because of the Izoku, walks aimlessly and asks herself why she came to Agartha; she finally accepts that she came to Agartha because she was feeling lonely. When the water dries up, she is attacked by the Izoku but is saved by Shin again. The two return to the cliff after seeing the Ark of Life descending. They encounter a Quetzalcoatl who is about to die. Before he dies, the Quetzalcoatl sings its song to send all its memories into the world; Asuna now understands that the last song she heard in her world was Shun's song before he was to die. The Quetzacoatl offers to take them to the bottom of the cliff.

At the bottom of the cliff, they both find the Gate of Life and Death and enter it. Morisaki has already made a wish for his late wife Lisa to return, however, her soul requires a vessel. Asuna and Shin find Morisaki, who tells Asuna she shouldn't have come; she is soon possessed by the soul of Morisaki’s wife. But this price is insufficient; Morisaki also pays with the loss of an eye. To undo Asuna’s possession, Shin destroys the clavis crystal, despite Morisaki having a knife to his throat. Breaking the clavis brings Asuna's soul back to her body, after she has had a short reunion with Mimi and Shun. Before Lisa leaves Asuna's body, she tells Morisaki to find happiness without her. Asuna is now back to her normal self but Morisaki is devastated and asks Shin to kill him. Shin tells him that carrying the burden of a deceased loved one is humanity's curse, telling Morisaki to live on. Asuna heads back to the surface and is seen making her farewell to Shin and Morisaki, who chose to stay behind. The film ends with an older Asuna looking out her window at the cliff side where she had met Shun and Shin. She then says her goodbyes to her mother as she hurries to her graduation ceremony.

Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel II. lost butterfly

PLOT: After Saber's disappearance, Shirou Emiya is effectively eliminated from the Holy Grail War as he returns home in defeat. Regardless, he intends to continue fighting. After returning from a meeting with Rin Tohsaka, Shirou finds Sakura Matou has been kidnapped by her brother Shinji and the two confront him. Sakura pleads for everyone to stop and Rider heeds her call, revealing Sakura as her true Master. Learning he can no longer control Rider, Shinji douses Sakura with a potion that makes her lose control of her mana and flees. Archer and Rin attack Sakura, but Rider defends her and starts turning them to stone with her gaze - revealing her identity as Medusa. However, when Shirou is hurt and loses consciousness, Sakura's grief causes her to injure herself, forcing Rider to stop and save her.

Shirou reawakens in Fuyuki Church, where priest Kirei Kotomine tends to his wounds and operates on Sakura. He explains Sakura's body is infested by Zōken Matou's Crest Worms, which feed on her mana by arousing her. As Rin contemplates killing Sakura for the danger she poses, Kotomine reveals to Shirou that the two girls are blood sisters with Sakura having been given to the Matou family for adoption. Despite Sakura's attempts to push him away for his own safety, Shirou promises he will protect her even at the cost of his ideals. Sakura then moves back to the Emiya household with Rider, who slowly starts to trust Shirou. Sakura becomes increasingly aroused due to the Crest Worms and her behavior becomes erratic.

Shirou and Rin seek out Illyasviel von Einzbern to form an alliance, but find her in battle with Zōken and the shadow, which unleashes the corrupted Saber Alter to subdue Berserker so it can devour him. While Archer is able to drive Zōken's Assassin off, the shadow mortally wounds him and severs Shirou's left arm before Archer is able to use his Noble Phantasm to drive it away. Before he dies though, Archer cuts off his own left arm and transplants it onto Shirou to save his life. Having lost their Servants, Rin and Illya move into the Emiya household to plan their next step while helping Shirou get used to his new arm, now sealed with a holy cloth as his body cannot handle Archer's power within. However, as Rin grows closer to Shirou, Sakura becomes jealous and asks him if he loves her romantically, to which Shirou affirms he does - resulting in the two having sex.

One night, Sakura sleepwalks throughout the city and kills several people, which is disguised as a fairytale dream. The Servant Gilgamesh attacks her, but the shadow devours him. Sakura then returns to the Emiya household and Shirou realizes the shadow follows her. Due to injuries she sustained from Gilgamesh, Sakura is bedridden and Illya tells her that she has become the vessel for the Holy Grail, thus she does not have long to live. It is secretly revealed that Illya is Kiritsugu Emiya's daughter, making her Shirou's adoptive sister. She had resented her father for supposedly abandoning her and resented Shirou for getting her father's attention. However, when Taiga reveals that Kiritsugu had tried many times to return to her before his death, she lets go of her grudge. Shirou is later approached by Zōken under a truce, who reveals the shadow is a piece of the Holy Grail from ten years ago that he put inside Sakura, confirming his fears that she is the shadow, and claims it is not his ally - in fact, he can barely keep it contained. Zōken tells Shirou the only way to stop the shadow is for him to kill Sakura, as he is the only one she trusts enough to let close, but he cannot bring himself to do it.

Seeing herself as a burden to Shirou, Sakura orders Rider to protect him and returns to the Matō estate, with Shirou giving chase. However, Shinji attempts to rape Sakura once she arrives, blaming her for his inability to become a magus. Threatened with Shirou discovering Shinji has raped her for years, Sakura panics and kills her adoptive brother. As Sakura realizes what she has done, the shadow appears and fuses with her, corrupting her.

Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna

PLOT : Five years after the events of Digimon Adventure: tri., Tai and the other DigiDestined are now grown-up, but are still dealing with ongoing attacks from the Digital World. When Parrotmon arrives in Nakano, Japan, and starts to wreak havoc, Tai, Kari, T.K., Izzy (at his office computer), and Matt, alongside MetalGreymon, WereGarurumon, Angemon, and Angewomon work together to send Parrotmon back to the Digital World.

After the battle, everyone goes back to their normal lives: Tai is currently attending college but has yet to decide what he truly wants to do with his life; Matt is thinking about attending Grad. school; Izzy is currently running his own computer company assisting other Digidestined around the world and informing non-DigiDestined about what Digimon are; Joe is attending Med. school; Mimi is still traveling abroad, but now has a successful website selling clothes; Sora is working to become an expert on Ikebana (flower arrangement); Kari and T.K. are now attending college, with T.K. becoming a novelist.

When Tai and Matt meet at the local pub discussing their life goals, they overhear a couple of girls nearby discussing how they 'never want to grow up'. Suddenly, one of the girls collapse and falls unconscious, prompting Matt and Tai to call for an ambulance. As the two are about to discuss what had just occurred, they are approached by a girl from the pub named Menoa Bellucci and her assistant, Kyotaro Imura, who claim to have an idea on what is transpiring.

The DigiDestined are then called to Izzy's office, where Menoa begins to explain that a Digimon named Eosmon has begun sending messages to Digidestined all around the world, and robbing them and their Digimon partners of their consciousness. Menoa then asks that the DigiDestined help destroy Eosmon in order to undo what has been done, offering to lead them to it.

They jump through the gate and arrive to combat Eosmon. Just as they were about to gain the upper hand, it changes form and becomes stronger and faster. Tai and Matt have their Digimon become Omnimon, but the fusion unexpectedly fails right before the finishing blow, allowing Eosmon to escape, and Tai and Matt suddenly find small clocks in their Digivices. Menoa, upon seeing this, then begins to explain that due to the damage done by Eosmon, should Tai and Matt continue using their Digivices enough times, their connection to their partners will die out, and Agumon and Gabumon will, too.

Later that day, Izzy attempts to examine the broken pieces of Eosmon he had found. Meanwhile, Matt suspects that Menoa and her assistant are somehow linked to all of this and begin to tail them. He later gets into contact with DavisYoleiCody, and Ken, who have fully recovered since their previous disappearance, to perform a background check on the two. Tai and Agumon go back to Tai's dorm room to rest for the night. An awkward moment between the two leads Tai to become saddened upon knowing his time with Agumon is slowly running out, as he is becoming an adult. Gennai appears before Tai and Agumon, only to confirm Menoa's statement to reign true before leaving.

Mimi, while going over her e-shop inventory, receives a message from an anonymous source. Kari and T.K. are also implied to be tracked. Izzy, Tai, and Matt, having received a distress call from Joe head over to the hospital Mimi is in, finding out that her consciousness was stolen by Eosmon. Shortly after, Izzy, Tai and Matt share what each of them have found so far. Matt suspects that they are being watched then gives Tai and Izzy burner phones in order to avoid being tracked.

Meanwhile, Biyomon asks Sora if they should join the others, but Sora insists on her decision to no longer fight and stay with Biyomon before she loses her. This refers to her digivice with the clock was shown in the opening.

Matt continues to tail Kyotaro, eventually leading to his apartment, where he is staying. Matt sees Kyotaro arming himself with a handgun, before leaving. Upon further investigation in the apartment, Matt finds many pictures of multiple DigiDestined littered throughout the room. He then receives a call from the others, further confirming his suspicions; Menoa was once DigiDestined, who had lost her partner, Morphomon, after she had matured, and that her partner, Kyotaro, is a fraud.

Suddenly, Izzy receives a notification of a live stream of Kari and T.K. being kidnapped, prompting Tai and Matt to rescue their respective siblings. Joe can't be contacted, prompting Izzy that Eosmon had taken him. Matt and Tai had arrived too late and Kari and T.K. have already been taken by Eosmon long before. Kyotaro is there, and before Matt has Gabumon attack him, Kyotaro explains his story: he is an FBI agent investigating the Eosmon incidents, and believed Menoa was behind it all, which she was. After the loss of her partner, Morphomon, Menoa began to descend a downward spiral of psychological tendencies. She created Eosmon to rob DigiDestined of their consciousness, and force them to never grow up, so they, too, would not share her pain of loss. She then set up T.K. and Kari's kidnapping to target Izzy.

Back at Izzy's office during this time, Izzy learns that Eosmon was artificial, which explained why Omnimon had little to no effect on it during their battle. After tracing it back to Menoa, she suddenly appears before Izzy, revealing her plan. After having Eosmon take Izzy's conscienceness, she then gets ahold of the list of any and all remaining awake DigiDestined. However, before he was knocked out, Izzy sends the coordinates of Eosmon's prime location to Matt and Tai. With the location sent, the two head to Eosmon's hideout.

Upon arriving, they find Eosmon had gotten a lot bigger and stronger than before, and that copies of the DigiDestined's sub conscience were created to appear as their younger selves. Menoa then goes on to proclaim herself as the savior of the DigiDestined, having created a sort of "Neverland" where they never have to grow up, and that if they choose, Tai and Matt can stay there with her so that they never have to part with their Digimon, as well.

Though hesitant with the proposal, Tai and Matt refuse and have their Digimon attack Eosmon. However, the other kids' eyes began to glow red and proceed to intervene with their attack using their Digimon. Menoa explains that she has no control over them, and that they're all doing this of their own volition. Despite this prevention, the sub conscience Digimon cannot Digivolve, but are great in numbers.

Menoa, wanting to save everyone for good, creates an army of cloned Eosmon. Outnumbered and without a backup plan, Tai and Matt quickly retreat to a nearby floating island. Menoa sees this as an opportunity and sends her Eosmon clones out into the real world. Thanks to the locations she received from Izzy, Eosmon clones appear and attack the located DigiDestined, including Davis and the others.

After some motivation to keep fighting, even with the knowledge that this could be the last time they fight together, Tai and Matt, and Agumon and Gabumon come face to face with Menoa and her remaining Eosmon army. Omnimon is formed once again and begins to destroy the Eosmon one-by-one. Menoa screams in despair, and fuses herself with Eosmon, prompting it to take on a much stronger, final form.

Within seconds, Eosmon cuts Omnimon into pieces, reverting it back into Agumon and Gabumon. Before Tai and Matt could reach their partners, they are suddenly assaulted by the sub conscience Digimon and are beginning to lose. However, not wanting to give up after coming this far, Tai sees and reaches for Kari's whistle, blowing loudly enough for the others to turn back to normal.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Sora, in her home, somehow has also heard the whistle. She is supporting the other chosen holding her own "greyed" out Digivice. Implying she had lost Biyomon somewhere off screen in the movie - hence her not being present in the final battle. The remaining, and now awake, DigiDestined begin to regroup and take on the remaining Eosmon army, buying Tai and Matt some time to rejoin. Knowing that this is officially the last time that they will Digivolve, Tai, Matt, Agumon and Gabumon stand strong together and achieve their final, ultimate evolution.

Together, with their newly obtained humanoid forms of Agumon -Bond of Courage- and Gabumon -Bond of Friendship-, they proceed to take down Eosmon and hear Menoa's pleas of help. As it turns out, all she wanted was closure from her loss and forgiveness from Morphomon. Wanting to rescue her, they finally destroy Eosmon once and for all, and in turn destroy the Eosmon clones. As Eosmon is destroyed, Menoa sees a brief image of Morphomon. Morphomon shows Menoa that it was saying "We will always be together", as it disappears, finally giving her closure.

Upon returning to the real world, Menoa is arrested by Kyotaro. The other DigiDestined wake up and return to their original tasks, and Agumon and Gabumon spend their last moment with Tai and Matt before disappearing for good.

Come spring, Tai and Matt continue to live their lives to the fullest, but will always keep the memories they shared with their Digimon partners in their hearts hoping one day they will be able to meet them again.

A Whisker Away

PLOT: Miyo Sasaki is an unhappy middle school girl living in the town of Tokoname who does not get along with her stepmother. Each day at school, she goes out of her way to flirt with her crush, Kento Hinode, in spite of his repeated rejections. One day, Miyo receives a magical Noh mask from a mysterious mask seller, which lets her become a cat. As "Tarō", she spends time with Hinode at his home, keeps him company while he studies Japanese pottery and listens to his problems. She longs to confess that the cat that he loves and the girl that he hates are the same person, but is afraid that he will reject her and refuse to visit with Tarō anymore.

One day, Miyo overhears a pair of boys at school speaking ill of Hinode, and loudly intervenes to defend his honor. She injures herself during the altercation, and for the first time, Hinode shows warmth to her as he takes her to the nurse's office and shares his lunch with her. Later that evening, as Tarō, Miyo learns that Hinode's family is closing their pottery shop, as his grandfather is retiring and the family can no longer afford it. Hinode's kindness towards her, combined with a need to cheer him up at the loss of his hobby inspires Miyo to confess her love in the form of a letter. The next day in class, a bully snatches the note before she can deliver it and reads it aloud, embarrassing both Miyo and Hinode. When confronted, Hinode saves face by publicly telling Miyo that he hates her. Miyo later visits Hinode as Tarō and spends the night with him. In the morning, she decides that life with Hinode as a cat is better than life without him as a human, and her human face falls off in the form of a porcelain mask. The mask seller appears to claim Miyo's face and tells her that he will give it to a cat who wants to become human. Miyo's friends and family begin searching for her, including Hinode, who confesses to Tarō that he doesn't really hate Miyo. Trapped in her cat body, Miyo begins losing her human faculties and regrets her choice. Kinako, the cat of Miyo's stepmom, obtains Miyo's human face from the mask seller and takes over her human life. Miyo implores her to return her face, but Kinako refuses, explaining that she is approaching the end of her natural lifespan but wishes to continue living and bringing happiness to her owner.

Miyo follows the shopkeeper to the secret Island of Cats where she hopes to convince him to turn her back into a human. Meanwhile, Kinako comes to understand just how much Miyo's stepmom loved her cat and has a change of heart. She reveals the secret of the masks to Hinode and takes him to the Island to save Miyo before her transformation becomes permanent. Kinako gives Hinode a cat mask, which turns him into a half-cat. Kinoko and Hinode are trapped by the masked seller but are rescued by Miyo and another cat who used to be a human. When Kinoko is about to give Miyo her face back, the mask stealer takes Miyo.

While Hinode eventually finds Miyo, the shopkeeper takes them to the "promised place" and attempts to finalize Miyo's and Hinode's transformation and extract their lifespan, but is foiled by all of the resentful humans that he had previously turned into cats. As they travel back to the human world, Miyo and Hinode confess their love to each other and Kinako returns Miyo's face, returning her to normal.

Weathering With You

PLOT:In June 2021, first year high schooler Hodaka Morishima leaves Kōzu-shima in order to get to Tokyo. When his ferry to the city is hit by a rainstorm, he is saved by Keisuke Suga, who gives Hodaka his business card. As Hodaka becomes broke and struggles to find work, he meets Hina Amano, an employee of McDonald's restaurant. She takes pity on him and gives him food. Later on, Hodaka finds an abandoned handgun in a waste bin he fell onto. After tracking down Suga's business location, he meets him there and his niece, Natsumi. Suga hires him as his assistant at a small occult magazine publishing company, where they investigate urban legends related to the unusually rainy weather in Tokyo. From a psychic, they hear the legend of a "sunshine girl" who can control the weather.

Hodaka sees Hina being intimidated into working at a back-alley club. He scares off the club owners by firing his gun into the air, thinking it was a toy. He and Hina escape; she takes him to Yoyogi Kaikan, an abandoned building with a shrine on its roof, where he throws the gun away. Hina astonishes Hodaka by demonstrating her ability to clear the sky by praying. Hodaka finds out that Hina lives alone with her brother Nagi, and they have no adult guardian. Seeing how they are in a financial trouble, Hodaka proposes to start a business with Hina with the ability of sunshine girl: a job to clear the weather for events such as weddings and parties. They create a website to accept orders and their business quickly becomes a success. However, when clearing the sky for the Jingu Fireworks Festival, Hina is shown on television and their site gets flooded with requests, so they decide to close their business.

A detective with the police search for Hodaka, as his family filed a search request. They find out that Hodaka was caught using the gun on a security camera. Officers arrive at the apartment where Hina lives with Nagi and interrogate her; Hina realizes that because they have no legal guardians, with their mother having died recently, social services are going to take them into custody. Hodaka visits Suga, who has also been visited by the police. Suga fires him and gives him a retirement allowance, explaining that the police suspect him of kidnapping Hodaka. Hodaka, Hina and Nagi try to run away, but they are halted by a heavy rainstorm and snowfall. They take shelter in a love hotel, and spend the night with instant food and doing karaoke. Hina reveals that her body is slowly turning into water. She explains that she is the cause of the abnormal weather and is intended to be a human sacrifice; her disappearance will return the weather to normal. Hodaka promises to protect her, but the next morning, Hina has vanished into the sky and the rain has stopped.

The police steps into the hotel room, sending Nagi to the children's counseling center and taking Hodaka to the police station. Having already fallen in love with Hina, Hodaka decides to bring her back to Earth and escapes from the police custody with the help of Natsumi and her Honda Super Cub. After her motorcycle is immobilized, Hodaka resumes on-foot to Yoyogi Kaikan building to reach the shrine. Inside, he encounters Suga, who attempts to stop him. The police surround Hodaka, but Suga, now inspired by Hodaka's desperation to see Hina, helps him escape. At the roof-top shrine, Hodaka jumps through the shrine gate and is transported into the sky, where he finds Hina and asks her to leave with him, insisting that Hina let go of her worries about the weather and start living for herself. As soon as they come back to the rooftop shrine, Hina, Hodaka, Natsumi, Nagi, and Suga are all arrested, and the heavy rains resume. Hodaka is sentenced to a three-year probation and sent back to his home Kōzu-shima.

Three years later, the rain has been falling without end in Tokyo, submerging much of the city. In the spring of 2024, having finished his probation, Hodaka graduates from high school (2 of his classmates ask whether he was wanted by the Tokyo police while he thinks it is a love proposal coming his way) and returns to Tokyo to join the university. He meets with Suga, who has expanded his business. After Suga encourages him to find Hina, Hodaka finds her praying on a street overlooking the drowned city. They reunite, with Hodaka promising her that they will be alright.

Hello World

PLOT: Set in Kyoto 2027, the Japanese government has made plans to collect and preserve the city's natural architecture and culture through drones in real time, storing all its data in an infinite-capacity machine known as Alltale. Naomi Katagaki is an indecisive high school student living in Kyoto who harbours a love for reading. One day after school, a mysterious yatagarasu steals his library book and in an attempt to get it back, he meets a strange man that appears out of nowhere. This man, whom only Naomi can see, is revealed to be himself from 10 years later, now grown up and an adult. The adult Naomi explains that he has accessed Alltale from the real world outside in order to change the recorded past and save Naomi's to-be girlfriend, his classmate Ruri Ichigyō, after she was unfortunately struck by lightning at a fireworks festival and rendered comatose. The teenage Naomi decides to call his adult self 'Sensei' and agrees to help, as his adult self has limited capabilities as an avatar within Alltale. Sensei then gifts Naomi a special power, God's Hand, which manifests from the yatagarasu as a translucent gloved hand, to allow him to create anything as long as its chemical and physical structure is not overly complex.

Consulting his own diary, Sensei leads Naomi to slowly gain Ruri's affection and they eventually fall in love. On the night of the incident, Naomi refuses to invite her out for the festival and remains outside her house per Sensei's orders. They realise that due to this being a world within Alltale, Sensei's interference has caused its Homeostatic System to kick in. Bots in the form of kitsune men appear attempting to correct the data, transporting Ruri and Naomi to the site of the incident. Summoning a black hole, Naomi erases not only the kitsune men, but also the stroke of lightning that would have hit the tree Ruri was originally supposed to have waited at and hence the accident, successfully rescuing Ruri and rewriting the data.

In a twist of events, Sensei suddenly reclaims God's Hand and teleports Ruri away before disappearing. Naomi is shocked as he realizes that Sensei's plan was to recreate Ruri's original mental state in Alltale so that the data within could be synced with Ruri's own comatose mind in the real world, enabling her to wake up. Returning, defeated, to the city, Naomi is suddenly faced with thousands of kitsune men — an effect of Sensei deciding to reboot the system after all data relevant to Ruri's existence has been rewritten. The system then automatically starts filtering parts of data to keep and those to be erased, causing the space within 2027 Kyoto to shift and for red auroras to appear in the sky. Naomi, recalling how Ruri was teleported away in a similar fashion, jumps into the redness. He awakes in a virtual space to the yatagarasu, who assures him that he is not dead and promises to help him save Ruri, manifesting God's Hand for him once more.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Sensei embraces Ruri, who has woken up from a coma. However, kitsune men soon start appearing around the room targeting her, Sensei realized his world also a world within Alltale. Teenage Naomi warps to Ruri's hospital room and prepares to bring her to the staircase outside Alltale's complex, which has the optimal spatial coordinates for them to return to their original world. With help from Sensei, they manage to outrun the kitsune men and Ruri returns to her time via a portal created by God's Hand. The kitsune men, shifting their targets to the two Naomis, transform into a horrible gigantic creature that overpowers Naomi's strength. In the last moment, Sensei sacrifices himself, knowing that there can only be one Naomi and thanking his past self for letting him see Ruri smile again, wishing for him to always be happy. Inside the Alltale Management Facility, Alltale is successfully shut down after its data goes haywire and begins to duplicate itself. Alltale logic system has been deactivated which makes it possible to parallel world to happen inside Alltale. In tears, Naomi returns to Ruri and the two share a kiss. As the data has been written and rewritten beyond recognition, Naomi greets a parallel world ahead of him and Ruri.

In the final scene, adult Naomi awakens atop a human civilisation on the Moon, to the overlapping voice of the yatagarasu and an adult Ruri, implying that Naomi fell into a coma after saving Ruri due to the injuries from failing to enter Alltale in his previous attempts and now it was adult Ruri transferring Naomi's memory from Alltale to the real world.

The man inside, Nine, a villain, has escaped and regroups with his team of villains, planning to create a society where those with strong Quirks rule over those with weak ones.

U.A. High's Class 1-A has been sent to the remote Nabu Island as part of a safety program. Izuku Midoriya, the holder of One for All, meets Mahoro Shimano, and her brother Katsuma, residents of the island. Bonding with them along with his rival Katsuki Bakugo, they discover that Katsuma wishes to become a hero, but Mahoro seeks to dissuade him, believing his Quirk to be unsuited for that line of work.

Meanwhile, Mahoro and Katsuma's father, who possesses a healing Quirk called Cell Activation, is attacked by Nine and his party. Nine, who has been empowered by All For One, can steal and possess up to nine Quirks, and steals Cell Activation. As his body cannot handle all of his Quirks without suffering damage, he seeks to use the stolen Quirk to heal himself, becoming near-invincible. However, the stolen Quirk is incompatible with his blood type. Nine surmises that the man's children might possess a better variant of it, and pursues them.

Nine and his gang arrive on the island and destroy all the ships and communication towers. Class 1-A learns of the invasion and split up to stop the villains and escort the island residents to safety. Nine finds the children and confirms Katsuma possesses a superior version of Cell Activation, but Midoriya intervenes before he can steal it; however, neither he nor Bakugo are a match against Nine. Despite this, they force him to retreat due to overusing his Quirks.

Class 1-A regroups and decide to attack the villains head-on, while awaiting the arrival of other heroes. Upon evacuating the islanders, the class defeat the rest of Nine's crew, but are incapacitated by Nine, except for Midoriya and Bakugo. Despite using more of their power, the boys are still no match for Nine. Seeing no other way to defeat Nine, Midoriya transfers One For All into Bakugo, while he uses leftover embers of its power. Together, the two overpower and defeat Nine, but Midoriya's One For All seemingly fades away afterwards.

As the military and professional heroes arrive, All Might finds an unconscious Bakugo and Midoriya. He realizes that, somehow, One For All remains within Midoriya, as the transfer into Bakugo was interrupted, and theorizes that the previous wielders of One For All wanted Midoriya to remain as its successor. Elsewhere on the island, Tomura Shigaraki, the leader of the League of Villains, finds and kills the weakened Nine out of spite.

With Nine's gang apprehended, the class spends the rest of their time repairing damage to the island before returning home. Midoriya and Bakugo, who has no memory of being given One For All, say goodbye to Katsuma and Mahoro, as a determined Katsuma promises to enter U.A. in the future.

spirited awat

plot: Ten-year-old Chihiro and her parents are traveling to their new home. They make a wrong turn and stop in front of a tunnel leading to what appears to be an abandoned amusement park, which Chihiro's father insists on exploring despite his daughter's misgivings. They find a seemingly empty restaurant still stocked with food, which Chihiro's parents immediately begin to eat. While exploring further, Chihiro finds an exquisite bathhouse and meets a boy named Haku, who warns her to return across the riverbed before sunset. However, Chihiro discovers too late that her parents have metamorphosed into pigs, and she is unable to cross the now-flooded river.

Haku finds Chihiro and advises her to ask for a job from the bathhouse's boiler-man, Kamaji. Kamaji asks Lin, a bathhouse worker, to send Chihiro to Yubaba, the witch who runs the bathhouse. Yubaba tries to frighten Chihiro away, but Chihiro persists, and Yubaba hires her. Yubaba takes away the second kanji of her name, Chihiro (千尋), renaming her Sen (). Haku later warns her that if she forgets her name like he has forgotten his, she will not be able to leave the spirit world.

Sen is treated poorly by the other bathhouse workers; only Haku and Lin show sympathy for her. While working, she invites a silent creature named No-Face inside, believing him to be a customer. A "stink spirit" arrives as Sen's first customer, and she discovers he is the spirit of a polluted river. In gratitude for cleaning him, he gives Sen a magic emetic dumpling. Meanwhile, No-Face, imitating the gold left behind by the stink spirit, tempts a worker with gold and then swallows him. He demands food and begins tipping expensively. He swallows two more workers when they interfere with his conversation with Sen.

Sen sees paper Shikigami attacking a Japanese dragon and recognizes the dragon as Haku. When a grievously injured Haku crashes into Yubaba's penthouse, Sen follows him upstairs. A shikigami that stowed away on her back shapeshifts into Zeniba, Yubaba's twin sister. She transforms Yubaba's son, Boh, into a mouse and mutates Yubaba's harpy into a tiny bird. Zeniba tells Sen that Haku has stolen a magic golden seal from her, and warns Sen that it carries a deadly curse. Haku destroys the shikigami, eliminating Zeniba's manifestation. He falls into the boiler room with Sen, Boh, and the harpy, where Sen feeds him part of the dumpling, causing him to vomit both the seal and a black slug, which Sen crushes with her foot.

With Haku unconscious, Sen resolves to return the seal and apologize to Zeniba. Sen confronts No-Face, who is now massive, and feeds him the rest of the dumpling. No-Face follows Sen out of the bathhouse, regurgitating everything he has eaten. Sen, No-Face, Boh, and the harpy travel by train to meet Zeniba. Yubaba orders that Sen's parents be slaughtered, but Haku reveals that Boh is missing and offers to retrieve him if Yubaba releases Sen and her parents.

Zeniba reveals that Sen's love for Haku broke her curse and that Yubaba used the black slug to take control over Haku. Haku appears at Zeniba's home in his dragon form and flies Sen, Boh, and the harpy to the bathhouse. No-Face decides to remain with Zeniba. In mid-flight, Sen recalls falling years ago into the Kohaku River and being washed safely ashore, correctly guessing Haku's real identity as the spirit of the river.

When they arrive at the bathhouse, Yubaba forces Sen to identify her parents from among a group of pigs in order to break their curse. After Sen answers correctly that none of the pigs are her parents, she is free to go. Haku takes her to the now-dry riverbed and vows to meet her again. Chihiro returns through the tunnel with her parents, who do not remember anything after eating at the restaurant stall. When they reach their car, they find it covered in dust and leaves, but drive off toward their new home.
